Today's question is from one of Vicktorious' many fans! "Dear Vicktorious, Let me just start off by saying I am a HUGE fan! I know you're practically the most famous user on the Pixpet site, and it's an honor to be featured on your show! I'm kind of a noob when it comes to the site, so I don't really understand anything, so I was wondering something about the user referrals. I know the basics for what they do: when a new user registers they can refer an already registered user, and each time the new user gets a badge, the more experienced user gets 10PC. But I was wondering, how does someone that wants to register refer someone else. I've got a friend that might join the site, and I'd like for her to refer me, but I'm not really sure how I explain to her how she's supposed to do it. Can you help me out, Vicktorious? First of all I love the way you phrased the question, that was fun to read XD So with referrals, unfortunately new referrals aren't possible anymore. I'm really sorry! They were disabled (I think last year?) with the intention of simplifying the registration form. The good news is that anyone who has existing referrals will still receive the PC rewards. Maybe it'll be reconsidered someday, I personally thought it was a neat thing to have, but for now it's unavailable. Sorry bout that >w< |
