Nope! The only thing that legendaries really do is have a much higher carry limit than non-legendary pets.

SLVL (satisfaction level, gained by having rare decorations in the part of your house your pet is in, and by getting people to interact with your pets aka play that lotto thing) helps increase the chance that you pet will bring something back

LVL in general increases the rarity of items (and grade) brought back.

Evolved pets will bring back double the PC (third evolutions will bring back triple), and usually increase their carry weight.

EDIT: I'm a dope, to clarify when I say "carry limit" I'm referring to how much weight they can carry, the "lifting capacity" listed on the overview page. I realized how that could be mistaken for how many items they could bring back...

In addition to Valtien's post, legendaries have the same PC multiplier as evolved pets (×2) ^^
