i agree. an egg sink, a way to trade pets, a "pound"... all would help :)

There is a suggestions thread on the forums where people have brought up the same thing. If you have any ideas, or rather want to put your support behind a particular idea, it may best to sift through the more recent pages of the thread and see what others have thought.

That sounds like a really good idea! I can fully stand behind this! The amount of eggs on the market needs to be kept in check. While Flight Rising has this problem they also have the exaltation system which makes leftover dragons have an inherent value. Pixpet needs something that gives the unwanted eggs an inherent value and i think your idea is an excellent solution to this issue.

I just want to echo @Jelly in saying that this is a common concern that's often being discussed over in the main suggestion thread, which I definitely recommend taking a look at before making your own suggestion/concern threads. If it seems daunting to look through the thread, I've made a list of the most common suggestions here. It also helps us forum mods when players know what others have been talking about so that we aren't seeing a bunch of similar threads with the same ideas, which clutter up the forums.

TL;DR - The main suggestion thread is pretty neat :P

My list only takes a minute to read, and that's why I made it, so that no one would have to comb through the entire thread.

Technically we're supposed to remove threads that are too similar to one already in existence because it's considered a duplicate thread, and therefore spam--at least regarding discussion threads. While I don't expect everyone to know everything that goes on in the forums, it's common forum etiquette to run a search on your specific suggestion before making a thread (I recommend any search engine to search the site, rather than the forum's own search function which is a bit minimalistic right now). That said, people are allowed to make the same suggestions within the main suggestion thread itself because that tells us what the majority wants, but without cluttering the forums. That's why the thread was made.

I'm not opposed to the idea of a subforum for suggestions, and it's probably inevitable anyway. I'll bring it up with other forum mods and Komodo to see what they think.
